Amy Stephens

Using industrial processes such as bronze casting and wood planing, Amy Stephens (b.1981 London) creates sculptures that have a strong architectural quality, expressing the exploration of form, line, and plane. The minimalistic and fragile geometric shapes of her sculptures blur the line between drawing and sculpture.

Stephens completed her BA in Fine Art at University of Reading in 2005 and an MA in Fine Art, Chelsea College of Art and Design, London in 2008. Recent solo exhibitions include Nature knows only colours, Maria Stathi Art Seen, Nicosia, Cyprus (2021); Land | Reland [Portland], Upfor Gallery, Portland.
